The central piece of NASA's next moon rocket has made it to the launch site. The top 80% of the core stage of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket that will launch the crewed Artemis 3 mission arrived at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida on Monday (April 27). The rocket stage got there after a weeklong journey aboard the Pegasus barge, which traveled 900 miles (1,450 kilometers) from NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. …
