Two men have been arrested in London after an incident in Birmingham in which a man was run over by a van after flags were removed from lamp-posts. Officers arrested the men at Euston station near the meeting point of the “Unite the Kingdom” march. The Metropolitan police said the men had arrived in the capital for the protest but they were arrested over an unrelated incident in Birmingham on Thursday evening.
